Future Squad Leader





I wanted to do a futuristic war illustration that looked kind of like the old Avalon Hill Squad Leader boxes.  I decided to use an old WWII photograph and the design of Rebel Minis Titan Marines because they are so cool!  It's not completely finished but I wanted to post what I had so far.

    I'm diggin' this, Chad. Reminds me of the old "Helen of Toy" war game ads from our comic books, when we were kids (Cannon Ball, Gold Crown, etc.). Love your choice of colors.

    I think you have too many disjointed colors. The original has a orange-yellow gradient, a low key green, lots of black with white text. The colors hang together. You might be able to use the colors you have but you I think you need to harmonize them.
