No, I usually stick with 25mm, I mostly do skirmish. For larger battles I'll probably use 10mm because my local game store produces some pretty good ACW, Colonial, and Franco Prussian War minis.
I have switched to 15mm even for skirmish gaming. This allows me a couple of options. I can either go with a smaller table or a regular table with more room to maneuver.
15mm is a great size, I actually started out with that scale when I was in 5th grade. I've been collecting 15mm Samurai for Road to Osaka but haven't played it yet.
I am going to build a 15mm New Erin force, I think. I've been wanting to use some Civil War figs and was going to do an American "Foreign Legion" made up of ACW war vets gone mercenary.
Thanks for the link! I can't wait to see what you come up with! We should come up with a political map using our ideas and other people's ideas to come up with a cohesive world. If everyone is cool with that any ways.
Those are a perfect fit. Not doing it in 15mm then?

ReplyDeleteThis is a better way to go I think.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea. Most of the colaboration has gone on between J over at "Victoria's Boys in Red" and myself.
ReplyDeleteBlack trousers would indeed make them more original, less similar e.g. to US sharpshooters.
